Breakfast Bites & Downtown Lowdown

The next Breakfast Bites & the Downtown Lowdown, will be held Tuesday, May 19. Doors open for breakfast and conversation at 8 a.m. The program starts at 8:30 and updates by City departments, Chamber of Commerce, and community partners will follow. This program is a joint effort between the Main Street Program and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.

In honor of Preservation Month, this quarter’s program, “Main Street: Then and Now”-- features two wonderful speakers. We’re excited to welcome Linda McCalla, the City of Georgetown’s first Main Street Manager who launched the program in 1982, alongside longtime Main Street professional and the City’s Downtown and Tourism Director, Kim McAuliffe. Together, they’ll take us through Georgetown’s Main Street story from the very beginning--sharing memories, milestones, and how our downtown has evolved over time.

Our goal is that businesses can benefit from a quarterly presentation focused on a relevant topic for business and receive updates that are timely and important for them to be aware of. It’s also a great opportunity to build relationships with the downtown stakeholders and community partners.

Please RSVP to Rachel White,
Rachel.White@georgetowntexas.gov, if you plan to attend.
