SMALL BUSINESS WEEK

The annual Georgetown Small Business Week celebrations are held the first week in May in conjunction with National Small Business Week. The Chamber partners with the City of Georgetown Economic Development department to host a week full of activities.  Educational workshops are designed to help business owners and managers with a variety of different topics relevant to small businesses. Workshops focus more on detailed training, and networking activities are scheduled to help connect our local businesses with each other.

Georgetown Small Business Week will host a total of 6 dynamic & educational workshops plus a Happy Hour Finale!

There are two sessions available in Spanish!  Each session is free to attend and has limited spots available. Click on tickets to review more information.

These workshops are FREE and open to all small businesses in Georgetown!

Wednesday May 8

• 10:15am-11:30am Empresarios Informados este 2024: Nuevas regulaciones para propietarios de pequeñas empresas

• 9-10am Restaurant Wellness 101: Your Recipe for Success!
  • ​Educational session on how to navigate requirements of the WILCO Health Department. Hear about best practices from industry representatives and successful restaurant owners who have mastered a healthy kitchen. This session is a must for local restaurant establishments and customers.
• 3:30pm-5:30pm Happy Hour
  • ​Cap-off Small Business Week and join us for Happy Hour hosted by The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served
