About the Quarterly Cornerstone Luncheon
The four cornerstones for a Chamber of Excellence are Healthcare, Public Safety, Economic Development, and Education. This month's luncheon focuses on public safety. Before the program, a Business Expo will take place for members of the Georgetown Chamber to showcase their products and services.

Topic Description: Is the City of Georgetown prepared?
A review of emergency management plans and tools at the City of Georgetown, plus lessons learned from COVID-19, Winter Storm Uri, and what individuals should to prepare for a disaster.
Speaker: Jackson Daly, Assistant Public Works Directors, City of Georgetown
About the Speaker: Jack Daly serves as the Assistant Public Works Directors for the City of Georgetown, TX, overseeing the Animal Services, Code Compliance, Emergency Management, and Environmental Services departments. He began his career in Georgetown in 2013 as an Executive Assistant to the Assistant City Manager. In 2015, he was promoted to Assistant to the City Manager. His responsibilities included overseeing the City’s Communication Department, managing City Council and citizen correspondence, special projects related to City Council goals, managing internal Citywide communication, and a wealth of “other duties as assigned.” Jack was recognized as employee of the year for the City of Georgetown in 2015. Jack is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Texas. He is active with the Texas City Management Association, International City Management Association, and Urban Management Assistants of Central Texas. Jack is married to his wife Katy and they have one daughter, June.
