Pre-registration and online registration for this event are open until 3 p.m. the day before the event.\n\nAbout the Speaker: \n\nDr. Fred Brent has devoted his career to public education. Prior to accepting the leadership role as Superintendent of Schools for Georgetown in July of 2014\, Dr. Brent served as the Superintendent of Alvin ISD and Anderson-Shiro CISD.\n\n\n\nDr. Brent proudly received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma City University\, his graduate degree from Lamar University\, and his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University. During his career\, Dr. Brent has been a geography teacher\, physical education teacher\, world geography teacher\, assistant principal\, and principal. Other districts where he has worked include Putnam City\, Little Cypress-Mauriceville\, Orangefield\, and Navasota.\n\n\n\nDr. Brent is married to Terri\, and they have three children: Abby currently attends Georgetown High School.
